Terms of service

Last updated: April 2026

These Terms of Service apply to all use of caughtcouture.com and any purchases made through it. By visiting our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law — those always apply.

About Us

Caught Couture is a UK-based online outerwear retailer founded by Mohamed Yeassine. We sell jackets, coats, and outerwear exclusively through our website, delivering to customers across the United Kingdom. When we refer to "we", "us", or "our" in these Terms, we mean Caught Couture.

Using Our Website

You may browse and purchase from us as a guest or by creating an account. You must be at least 18 years old to place an order or create an account. By using the site, you confirm that the information you provide — including your name, address, and payment details — is accurate and belongs to you.

You are responsible for keeping your account login details secure. If you suspect that your account has been accessed without your authorisation, contact us immediately at support@caughtcouture.com. We are not responsible for losses caused by unauthorised access to your account where you have failed to keep your credentials secure.

You must not use our website in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful to others. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or our systems, introduce malware or viruses, or scrape or copy our content without permission.

Placing an Order

When you add items to your cart and complete checkout, you are making an offer to purchase those items at the price shown. We accept your offer when we send you an order confirmation email. That confirmation is the moment a binding contract exists between us. Keep that email — it is your proof of purchase.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order. This might happen if a product becomes out of stock after your order is placed, if we discover a pricing error, if your payment cannot be processed, or if we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraud. If we cancel your order, we will notify you and issue a full refund to your original payment method within 5 business days.

You will receive your order confirmation email within a few minutes of placing your order. If it does not arrive, check your spam folder. If it is not there, contact us at support@caughtcouture.com with the email address you used and we will check your order status.

Pricing and VAT

All prices on our website are displayed in Great British Pounds (£). Prices include UK VAT at the applicable rate. The VAT rate is shown at checkout. Delivery costs are calculated and shown separately before you confirm your order — they are not included in the product price.

We take care to ensure all prices are correct. If we discover a pricing error on an item you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible before processing the order. You will have the choice to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund. We will never process a payment for more than the price shown when you placed your order. We are not obliged to honour a price that is clearly an error.

Payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Payment is required in full at the time of ordering. All payments are processed securely through our payment provider using SSL encryption. We do not store your full card details on our systems at any point.

By submitting your payment details, you confirm that you are the authorised holder of the payment method and that sufficient funds are available. If your payment is declined, your order will not be placed and no money will be taken from your account.

All transactions are subject to fraud screening. If a transaction is flagged, we may contact you to verify your identity before processing the order. We reserve the right to cancel any order that does not pass our security checks.

Delivery

We dispatch all orders using Royal Mail Tracked. We aim to process orders within 1 to 2 business days of receipt, with a daily dispatch cutoff of 5 PM GMT Monday to Saturday. Standard UK delivery takes 2 to 3 business days after dispatch. Total estimated delivery time from ordering is 3 to 5 business days.

Delivery to the Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, and the Channel Islands may take longer. We do not ship outside the United Kingdom.

Delivery timescales are estimates, not guarantees. We are not responsible for delays caused by Royal Mail, severe weather, industrial action, or other circumstances outside our control. If your order is significantly delayed, contact us and we will investigate on your behalf.

Full details of our delivery process, tracking, and what to do if your order does not arrive are in our Shipping Policy.

Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

You have the right to return any item within 30 days of delivery under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015. Items must be returned in their original condition — unworn, unwashed, with all tags attached. We also offer exchanges within 30 days for a different size or colour, subject to availability.

If an item is faulty, damaged, or materially different from its description, you have additional rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015. We will repair, replace, or refund you depending on the circumstances and your preference.

Full details of how to return or exchange an item, who pays return postage, and how long refunds take are in our Refund Policy.

Product Descriptions and Availability

We make every effort to describe and photograph our products accurately. Colours may appear slightly different on different screens depending on screen calibration and settings. If an item you receive is materially different from its description on the website, you are entitled to a full refund or replacement under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.

We do not guarantee that any product will be in stock at the time of your order. In the rare event that a product becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will notify you immediately and issue a full refund.

Intellectual Property

All content on caughtcouture.com — including product images, text, descriptions, the Caught Couture name and logo, and the design and layout of the website — is owned by or licensed to Caught Couture. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website for commercial purposes without our prior written permission. Personal, non-commercial use is permitted, provided you do not modify the content and you acknowledge Caught Couture as the source.

Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites — for example, Royal Mail for parcel tracking. These links are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. Following a link to another website is at your own risk.

Website Availability

We aim to keep caughtcouture.com available at all times. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The website may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances outside our control. We are not liable for any inconvenience or loss caused by the website being unavailable.

Our Liability to You

If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our failure. We are not responsible for losses that are indirect or that were not foreseeable at the time you placed your order.

Our total liability to you in connection with any purchase is limited to the total value of that order. This does not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable UK law.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Force Majeure

We will not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations under these Terms where that failure is caused by events beyond our reasonable control. This includes natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, government action, failures of third-party suppliers, and disruption to Royal Mail services.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the law, our business, or our products and services. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. The version of the Terms in force at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order. Continued use of the website after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated version.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you also retain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your home country.

If you have a complaint about your order or our service, please contact us at support@caughtcouture.com in the first instance. We aim to resolve complaints within 5 business days. If we cannot resolve a dispute directly, you may refer it to an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scheme or seek guidance from Citizens Advice.
