A Painter and His Brush

A painter would look to art giants of the past like Picasso and Leonardo Da Vinci for inspiration as well as his familiar surroundings for inspiration. The dandelion seed drifting in the wind in one’s garden, the frowning lines across the foreheads of one’s wife, or even a wound covered in blood, may allow an artist to tap into his inner creativity and create something beautiful and marvelous. Likewise the sculptor, the metal and pottery worker will draw inspiration from the things they find ‘interesting.’

A Writer and the Words He Wants to Convey

A writer or a poet has an abundance of ancient works he or she can tap into like the poetry and plays of Shakespeare, Austin novels, Donne and Alexander Pope poetry and Robert Frost works. The popular novels of the modern world like John Green novels or Martin’s novels that gave birth to the TV series, ‘Game of Thrones’ or the Lord of the Rings trilogy or the Harry Potter series are able to horn the skills of a writer looking to create something of his own.

A Scientist Questioning the Universe

A scientist would look to past theories and collect data about the field of research he is interested in to make up his own thesis. He may question the universe, how we all came to being, what gave us a conscious, and if we are really alone in the universe. At the same time he maybe uninterested in all life forms, if he cares only to research about a certain bug in the insect world and dedicate his life for it.

A Footwear Designer

A shoe maker would want to draw inspiration from the past as well as shapes and colors around him. The blood red color of a beautiful flower may inspire him to make a pair of striking blood red leather boots Australia. The tendrils of a plant may inspire him to make a unique pair of sandals using different material.

A Clothing Designer

At the same time a designer of cloths will draw inspiration from trending fashion trends, his or her favorite designers or may even be driven by a passion to be novel and unique. Making and stitching together ‘that piece of perfection’ would be the ultimate dream for that designer. Likewise creators draw inspiration from the people, documents and texts, images, visuals, sounds, tastes, feelings and smells around them; forever searching for the inspiration that will make them immortal in the eyes of humanity.
