The winner of the Emerging Designers competition was Jaimie Sortino, who delivered a collection of huge ballgowns that push the boundaries. I loved every piece – particularly if I could wear one running down the street SJP style

Jamie was a darling backstage – he was there ALL day with a needle and thread, sewing little finishing touches onto his designs, he was such a nice guy! We were all so happy when he won, he really deserved this! His gowns are absolutely stunning creations of art, it was amazing to see them up close.
