Sainte Lucie

Four years after co-founding the fun but stylish accessories brand Indy C, Lucy Tucker is launching her own quirkycool clothing line, Sainte Lucie.

Of course, Lucy’s desire to be in fashion started long before Indy C. From making foil creations for her Barbie dolls to dropping work as a graphic designer to study fashion at TAFE, she was always drawn to the fashion industry.

…designing & appreciating beautiful things is my way of understanding the world.”

Luckily she gets to find many beautiful things when she travels the world for Indy C. She cites her travels and Kate Bush as key inspirations for her designs.

So what can we expect from the first collection in AW ’11?

From these exclusive previews of the lookbook, it will be quirky but feminine, with a kind of cool like Proenza Schouler meets Chloe Sevigny.

I love seeing labels that dare to be a bit different instead of putting the same thing in stores all the time! Can’t wait to see this out in stores!

Look out for Sainte Lucie next year – check out updates on Facebook, or see more of the lookbook on the website.
